Old skool

Whilst rummaging through some cupboards, we found our old trusty office tape deck – long since left to gather dust as we built the ultimate iTunes server (digital is the future after all!).

Oh the fun we’ve had. Because we have something of a mini recording studio in the office – put to use every week for Ross FM – it was a simple job to plug it in and pump some retro sounds.

Albums we’ve not heard in 20 years.

Recordings of the top 40 from 1983 – complete with squelching noise when the person recording it attempted to pause recording before the DJ began talking again.

And more cheese than a French dairy farm.

Happy times.
